Dracula weekend

I found this trip to Draculas hometown. This is info from the swedish website:

Experience the Dracula myth come to life from the spooky atmosphere of the Bran Castle, known as Dracula's Castle.
During the walking tour of this medieval castle we offer visitors an unforgettable atmosphere where
myth and reality merge together. Guided tours of the castle are included.
You stay 4 nights in the middle of the old town of Brasov in a genuine and romantic hotel from the 1400s.

Maybe this will be what we do on our honeymoon?
We will see what we can afford but this seems both exciting and romantic!

  1. What a beautiful castle *_*! This might be the perfect goth honeymoon. I bet it's also ridiculously expensive...

    1. On the website it said 4000SEK for one person, and that includes the flight, but just to be sure I sent them an email and asked so we can make a budget and see if it's possible :) maybe if we go in january instead of december it will be cheaper as well!

  2. Wow, that would be a dream come true! My husband and I want to make that trip someday. We went to the beach on our honeymoon. I am not a fan of swimming in the ocean, AT ALL, but it was fun.

    1. Indeed! Our first plan was Disneyworld as honeymoon, but we are not that rich sadly so it will have to wait, and also, if we went there we might spending our romantic honeymoon waiting in line everywhere xD

Typiskt!

  5. Oh you should totally go if you can, Lesthi! And it's very cheap for food and stuff. It was one of the cheapest vacations we ever did (once we got there - the flight from Canada was a whole different story!) :D

  8. Aww, you should really try mititei, or miccs! Those are made of three kinds of meat, and grilled. Food and everything is inexpensive, people are nice.

You might want to organise it for yourself, instead of paying for a bureau if the budget counts. The plane ticket will be the most expensive part, I guess.

Here is a page "travel with us in Transsylvania"

(If you need help feel free to drop me a letter, as not all the pages are translated.)

I'd also recommend you to visit Sovata, wich has a heliothermic lake, and Parajd, wich is a saltmine-cure center. It's like seeing people playing badminton in Moria.

Have fun, and beware of bears! ^^
